Sega has announced its first blockchain game based mostly on the Sangokushi Taisen franchise. According to 4Gamer, the venture is being developed in collaboration with Double Jump Tokyo. The game Sangokushi Taisen is a real-time technique that’s particularly well-liked on Japanese slot machines. For them, players collect bodily cards that they can then add to the game.
It isn’t yet clear how the brand new venture will use blockchain know-how. Maybe it’s instantly associated to the map mechanics. The information saved within the blockchain allows customers to own, buy, and promote digital items, together with in-game objects or illustrations.
Some gaming corporations have already started promoting digital items in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), including Konami and Atari. Blizzard Entertainment can be excited about technology. However, its use in video games has been criticized by gamers who see NFT as just a cynical way to generate income.
