Teams from PES, SRM win EY Techathon – Times of India

EY’s annual Techathon for college students noticed over 5,000 registrations this 12 months. The challenge was to develop novel options in the metaverse that may enable businesses to offer immersive experiences. The profitable team won Rs 3 lakh and the runner-up team gained Rs 2 lakh. The staff of Aaryan Sandeep, Hari Ganesan, Sushant M Nair, and Karthik Nair from PES University, Bengaluru, was the winner. The runner-up group of GK Dvijesh Raghav, Mayank Rai, Pranav Kumar and Sarvottam Kumar Mishra from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, constructed a meta-stadium. The staff calls it a metaplex – a digital venue featuring an NFT artwork gallery, a digital expo with live occasions, virtual office rooms and virtual manufacturing unit simulations to steadiness work and play in the virtual world. The staff says their success is a testament to the ability of collaboration and the influence of mentorship in driving innovation.
