The staff of Aaryan Sandeep, Hari Ganesan, Sushant M Nair, and Karthik Nair from PES University, Bengaluru, was the winner. They created a digital twin of a development challenge, an AR/VR-based project that helps minimise construction errors. It exhibits the structural integrity of specific parts and in addition shows pipes and electrical lines for maintenance. “The competition was fierce and the extent of talent was spectacular, making the win much more rewarding,” the team says.
The runner-up group of GK Dvijesh Raghav, Mayank Rai, Pranav Kumar and Sarvottam Kumar Mishra from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, constructed a meta-stadium. The staff calls it a metaplex – a digital venue featuring an NFT artwork gallery, a digital expo with live occasions, virtual office rooms and virtual manufacturing unit simulations to steadiness work and play in the virtual world. The staff says their success is a testament to the ability of collaboration and the influence of mentorship in driving innovation.
